The non-profitable CIACAC has been active since September 2001 and was registered as an NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation)
in March 2005
. CIACAC was formed in response to the lack of space and activities specifically aimed at children and adolescents. The aim of this project is to develop and mentally stimulate children, teenagers and residents of poor communities exposed to the risk of social violence through activities in cultural areas, education, leisure activities and citizenship.
